Volunteer for Mind Befriending Sir Gâr

We are also on the look-out for people to join our befriending scheme. As a volunteer befriender, you will promote the wellbeing and positive mental health of people who are experiencing emotional distress and are geographically and socially isolated. Befrienders provide one-to-one support and companionship on a regular basis to widen social networks and assist in accessing community based facilities in the company of befrienders.

Please visit the befriending pages to find out more, or download our information about the scheme, role and person specification, and the volunteer application form.

Fundraise for Llanelli Mind

Although we are part of the national charity Mind, we are a completely autonomous organisation and must therefore raise our own money in order to survive. You can help us to continue our vital work by taking part in fundraising events or by organising your own. Click here to find out more.
