MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE MEMBERS/TRUSTEES NEEDED

A CHANCE TO HELP YOUR LOCAL COMMUNITY

Do you have a few hours to spare a month?

We are looking to strengthen our Voluntary Board of Trustees by attracting members with a range of skills and experience, for example:

  • Personnel
  • Voluntary sector
  • Management
  • Training
  • Fundraising
  • Law
  • Mental Health

The trustees meet once a month and your time would be given voluntarily, although any expenses incurred in order to attend meetings will be reimbursed.

We are also looking to recruit more much needed Volunteers to help at the Drop In Centre.

Do you have an interest in mental health issues? If so, come along to the North and South Carmarthenshire Mental Health Forum, monthly meetings held alternately at Llanelli Mind Centre and Hafal Centre Carmarthen. Facillitated  by Jill Jones and Angie Darlington, development workers for W.W.A.M.H.

Mind Cymru has successfully recruited and trained 76 people to become Mental Health First Aid (Wales) Instructors, who are now providing the 12 hour MHFA (Wales) course content to participants.The website contains information about the 12 hour MHFA (Wales) course content which covers depression, anxiety, psychosis, self-harm, suicide and the impact of illegall drugs and alcohol on a person's mental health.
